thanks a lot to tenderbranson69 my brother for gifting me this growler for my birthday. Enjoyed chilled in a tired hands 2nd Anniversary willybecker
The color is golden with thick haze very thick white head with average bead, lace sticks and retention is decent. The smell is yeasty and hoppy with a strong herbal/dank simcoe smell with slight malt sweet scent and hint of fruit from the yeast. The feel is very good, tangy semi-bitter yeast and dry with medium carbonation and bitterness increases toward a dry slight astringent finish.
The taste is excellent -lots of hop flavor, very good with herbal and juicy qualities and citrus tangy bitter with a fruity flavor from yeast and subtle malt just supports the aforementioned tastes with yeast giving an earthy taste in the back. Overall this is a very good single hop pale, not the ultimate simcoe beer and not the best 'Level' but still easy to enjoy.

Growler from TH.
First Level: Nelson Sauvin
Second Level: Galaxy
Third Level: Citra
Fourth Level: Simcoe
All hail Simcoe! Pale yellow in color, cloudy, with a fluffy white head on top that receded to a layer of random bubbles; moderate lacing. In the nose, Simcoe, of course, crisp and lemony, pithy, notes of pine needles, apricot, and crackery malts. Light and crisp on the palate, lemon pith, lemonade, grass and pine, essence of stone fruit, the woods after a spring thunderstorm; distant crackery pale malts bring in a tiny sweetness, but the fresh hops are clearly in charge. Body was in the light to light-medium range, crisp and refreshing, "crushable" as it were. Overall a nice IPA and a good display of Simcoe, one of my favorite hops.
