the flavors of this very distinctive tea and the highly floral honey make this a really interesting and unique saison, a beer like no other i have ever had, and my first when we arrived at tired hands. served in a stemmed straight almost flute glass, it doesnt have much head, and has a dull pale orange glow, a little haze too. aroma is amazing, the peppery fruity tea hits me right away, earthy and intense, obviously rooibos, with the yeast right behind it. i am a big admirer of their house strain, old worldy and funky without any acidity or belgian fruitiness, its rustic and wild, and its awesome. a great compliment to the tea in nose and taste. the honey sweetness is largely fermented out, but the fragrant floral springy freshness remains. blossoms and citrus, really delicate, but also beautiful with the tea. slightly funky, but really clean at the same time, light bitterness from the tea lingers, a soft raspberry note out of nowhere as well. this one needs more carbonation to really sing, the only missing element and a little disappointing for how perfect the rest of it is, but the oats give it a nice body that i really dig. incredibly well refined beer, super unique, one of my favorites from our visit here. this is brilliant saison!

8 oz. pour at the Brew Cafe.
Sunny yellow-orange with a thin white head.
Lemon and honey iced tea on the nose.
The taste is soft, well-rounded lemon, honey, sweet tea, and bright, wheaty sunshine. A delicious saison.
The mouthfeel is medium. Not as tart as some of TH's other offerings. More tame.
Overall, I really liked this. A world class saison imo.
Similar to their Lil Lady, and probably one of the best saisons I've had recently.
