Refreshing is our late summer months, forget-about-the-impending-cold, always refreshing Thirst Quencher Double IPA! Brewed with heaps of malted oats and intensely refreshingly hopped and dry hopped with Galaxy, Citra, and Lemondrop! Lots of key lime, drippy sweet mango, and kalamansi gumballs in this batch. It’s just real pungent, drippy sappy juicy, and well... Refreshing!

The episode begins with emptying the entire contents of a pint can into a clear glass liter mug. A cloudy lemon-amber colored liquid appears, with a modest and enduring off-white head on top. Its aroma is delightful, with notes of piney and citrusy hops at the forefront. It drinks pleasantly, if not boldly. There's no noticeable barley malt to taste, but it has some worthy starch balance to a modestly hoppy bite. The hops presence are initially mildly citrusy, then transition to piney and more bitter. It's a positive transition that saves the overall taste from being too bland. The mouthfeel is surprisingly substantial, considering the obvious lack of barley. This goes down full flavored, yet lightly and cleanly. The substantial ABV only contributes to the overall drinking experience. It may not be impressive for glass lacing, but that really doesn't matter.

It's good. And I realize the reason it's called "refreshing" must be because it's over-carbonated. And it IS refreshing. And tasty. And makes mowing the lawn much more enjoyable. But its too simple to be rated a 95 on BA. What gives?

Addicting DIPA, which in my estimation, melds WC and NEIPA sensibilities perfectly. Tongue coating resin, and medium drying bitterness bring home the pineapple, tangerine, lemon, orange, and piney red grapefruit. THEE hazy double for WC hop heads without question

Pours a cloudy, cream-hued light orange with a finger of dense, off-white foam head. Good retention and thick lacing.
Citrus (clementine, lime, tangerine) and melon dominate the nose at first, soon joined by some cream and cut grass.
Interesting mix of flavors: cream, citrus, grass, herbs and a hint of mineral water.
Thick, creamy feel with some tight, prickly carbonation.
Tasty, refreshing beverage with nice grassy elements and a remarkable mouthfeel.
