Tabel Saison brewed with Pilsner malt and raw wheat, and hopped with ample helpings of German grown Saaz and Mandarina Bavaria. Primary fermented in one of our large oak foudres with our Magickal saison yeast. Raw, simple, and meant for drinking.

Pours a hazy straw color with minimal white head. Decent lacing and bubbles on this one.
The aroma is almost non-existent, bringing faint notes of grass and tart lemon.
The taste is more of the same. Grassy, herbal, with some faint tartness in the finish. Very medicinal and a bit overhopped for the style.
The feel is light bodied with moderate carbonation. Dry, yet lacks the prickly crispness I come to expect from a saison.
Overall, a mediocre and frankly boring effort here. I understand that this is a lighter farmhouse ale so the flavors and aromas won't exactly pop, but with this one they are just far too muted and what's there isn't really that good anyway. Definitely pass on this one.

From draft at TH. Pale yellow pour with a modest head. Very nice, low-alcohol brew and perfect for a hot day if you like a somewhat tart finish in a saison.
