Brewed with a base of German Pilsner malt and raw white wheat. Fermented in a large oak foudre with our Magickal Saison yeast. Dry hopped with German Callista and Hallertau Mittelfrüh. Classic, complex, and crushable. Notes of white grape, morning dew, cucumber, hay, and jasmine.

Pours a very clear light yellow with very minimal head. Great funky saison aroma, I get lemon, citrusy hops, funky sourness. Flavor is tart citrus, lemon, grapefruit pith, grassy, ample sour funkiness. Very light carbonation. Overall a very good funky saison, similar to Hill Farmstead beers of the same style.

Pours a slightly cloudy, bright straw coloration with a very wispy head that quickly recedes to nothing. Smell is tart and hoppy, with a little funk and notes of white grape, green apple and hay coming through as well. Taste is dominated by zesty grapefruit and tart green apple and white grape, with a subtle funkiness and hints of oak, hay and peppery spice. Finishes quite dry, with some tart green apple and white grape notes lingering in the aftertaste. Flat mouthfeel with a medium body and very low carbonation.
A rather hoppy, modern Saison that still manages to maintain some nice fruity/spicy estery notes and a good, if subtle funkiness. Feels perhaps a little overhopped, but is still nicely balanced for what it is, with a very dry and acidic character. Does suffer from a rather flat and under-carbonated body and mouthfeel though.

Poured from a bomber bottle into my tulip glass. 2 weeek old bottle.
L: A light gold color with absolutely no head and no glass lacing.
S: Loads of fruit. Tart fruit. Apple, grape, pear and some hay and funk.
T: Tart fruit with apple, grape, pear and some hay and grassy notes. Some oakiness and a bit of funk. Finish is dry with tart fruit. No alcohol.
F: ok, so this beer is woefully under carbonated. Flat actually. Mouthfeel is terrible.
O: Great flavors, terrible mouthfeel and carbonation. I really hope it’s only this batch, but this beer is totally flat. Dissapointing beyond belief.
