A thoughtful and friendly blend of two mature oak Saisons that Jean blended with his very very very sweet friend Keith Shore...a blend of a wheat based Saison, brewed in 06/2016 and a Super Saison, brewed in 08/2016. Blended together in a brand new VERY light toast French oak puncheon and matured for an additional five months atop a restrained dose of fresh lime zest. They bottled this on 5/3/2018. Incredibly bright, zippy but still mature and austere... almost Geuze-like... hay, citrus, grass, barnyard, leather...Keith selected the right barrels. =) The label on each bottle is actually a 4.375 H x 9 W print housed within a clear plastic sleeve! Created by Keith and Jean and then risograph printed on very nice paper. Each print is hand numbered and signed. Only 500 bottles/prints were made ... This has been a super cool project that has allowed Jean to spend a lot of quality time with his good friend Keith and he hopes you folks really enjoy the liquid/art of their labor! Thanks so much for getting into this project with us!

This one pours a nice light hazy yellowish color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This one smells like lemon candy, herbal funk, hay, overripe citrus, and barnyard.
This really came out quite well. It's got a great dry and herbal funk, with an almost gin-like flavor. There's some nice old citrusy type flavor, and lots of barnyard deep funk. There's a bit of grassiness, too.
This is lighter bodied, and very crisp and clean, with a nice level of carbonation and drinkablity.
I was surprised by this one - I had no expectation for it. It was very well done.
