Brewed in April of 2018. Composed of rye, oats, and Czech Saaz hops. Fermented with our Magickal Saison yeast in a large oak foudre and conditioned on locally gathered honeysuckle. Bottled in June of 2018 and conditioned in the bottle with local wildflower honey. Notes of white pepper, hay, pink grapefruit, fresh cut grass, and flint.

Poured from a bomber into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Slightly hazed golden pour with thick fizzy white head. Sediment at the end of the pour. Decent ring of lacing.
S: Tart and dry... floral, fruit, and funk.
T.F: Just like it smells. Sweet floral honeysuckle and green fruit. Pear, white wine, funk, and a bit of spice. Oak and musty barrels. Modest acidity... finishes bone dry. Zippy carbonation and medium to light bodied.
O: Another fantastic Tired Hands saison. The honeysuckle part tastes like the flower bectar that we used to pick/sip at as kids out in the woods. A fun beer and quite tasty.

Hazed gold with three fingers of rocky, off-white head. Thick, soapy lacing.
Restrained, floral aroma with light lemon, honey, wood, apple and soap.
Surprisingly dry tasting. More of the floral, soapy saison taste shows up front. It’s followed by the apple and honey sweetness from the nose mid-palate — with a little pear, too. It closes with a hint of wood and funk, and a sort of stony finish. It’s not really like mineral water; it’s more like drinking from dusty stoneware, even though I’m drinking from glass.
It has a very soft mouthfeel with light, prickly carbonation.
This is a tasty and unique saison that’s definitely worth a try. Maybe a bit too dry for my personal preferences.
