Mostly clear, lightly foggy dark yellow with a fuzzy white head.
A little buttery apple, but also clean resin, though gentle for what it is.
It's not terrible, and perhaps oxygenated, but I can't be sure.

This should maybe have a different entry as this particular batch comes in at 7.5% ABV.
Anyway, I was doing a dry month, but am officially over it. Why? Because I got a box of goodies from Tired Hands and I simply can't help myself, that's why. Fuck it! So this one is supposed to be an homage to old school west coast IPAs and pours with almost 2 and a half fingers of frothy white head. Body is a slightly cloudy light copper. It sorta looks the part, I guess. The smell kind of takes me by surprise; it's awful fruit-forward (peach, in particular) for a west coaster. Taste follows; peach vibes. It tastes like a NEIPA, just with old school bitterness. Which is fine, I guess, but it's not quite what I was sold. It's still a solid beer, even if I'm a little disappointed.

Thanks to Roy_Hobbs for this one.
There's some bright citrus notes but a funky earthy note that is hard to nail down and is somewhat astringent.
Flavor follows the nose with the mysterious earthy bitter note. Some grain pops as well.
Mouthfeel is fine for style. Good carbonation.
Overall, I'm thinking something is off with the can versus off with the beer. Hope to retry and edit this review.

Canned March 21, 2022. Bright, translucent straw colored with just ok head production and retention. Aroma is mostly citrus and relatively simple. It's pleasant enough, but not noteworthy in any way.
Taste mostly follows the nose. Citrus up front, with a hoppy bite on the back-end that feels right for the style. Medium bodied with decent carbonation.
Overall, solid beer. Not my favorite style, but still generally enjoyable.

Thanks to Roy_Hobbs for this one from his recent NBS BIF #15 hit. 16oz can (dated 3/21/22) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a lightly hazy medium gold color with over an inch of white head that good retention and light-moderate lacing.
Citrus hops had the front of the nose, with a slight bit of pine as well. Soft grains provided a nice base.
Similar on the tongue, with some nice grapefruity bite.
The body the typical medium of the style, had a light coarseness, and a semi-dry finish.
Drinkability was good, a nice quaffer.
Overall, a good beer, worth grabbing if you see it.

Most recent release was December 2020. Still very good, though this batch came in at 7.5% abv. Completely West Coast style.
