Pours a very hazy, peach-tinted yellow with an overly massive, Duvel-wannabe head. A big ole island of foam is left in the middle even after quite a while of sitting, as well as thick clumps of lacing along the sides of the glass.
There’s a traditional saison base with strong, floral peach skin and citrus on top.
The taste is more traditional and restrained. Soapier than the nose. Lightly sour and doughy, with flashes hinting at fruity sweetness. A little acidic snap at the end, blunted somewhat by some fairly strong clay and mineral water.
Medium bodied with some zip to the carbonation.
Old world meets new sort of deal. I like it. More saison-like than many American brewers recent saisons.

16 oz can into a tulip glass.
Pours a hazy straw color with an absolutely massive fluffy white head. Ridiculously stubborn retention. Leaves some clingy lacing.
The aroma brings notes of fresh pear and lime, grass, hay, slight funk, latex, and grapefruit. Some spicy hops. There's a bit of bready malt in the back. Not overly complex, but definitely a great smelling saison.
The flavor is subtly tart, bringing notes of lime juice, pears, and apricot. Lots of grainy malts and hay, with some citrus, light funk and spicy hops. Relatively simple but so drinkable.
The feel is medium-light bodied with lively, effervescent carbonation. Crisp and highly drinkable, yet somehow velvety smooth.
Overall, this is a truly great farmhouse ale. To be honest I wasn't expecting much, but this beer hits all the notes I expect from the style. It's earthy, funky, lightly tart and insanely drinkable.

750 ml bottle, batch 1, poured into an Ourison glass
A- A clear golden straw with two finger white head
S- Tart, pears, some bready malts, band-aids, slightly musty, hints of citrus.
T- Pears, touch of lemons and some tartness, a very nice musty/band-aid funk, slightly floral, with hints of some breadiness
M- Smooth, fluffy, light body.
O- I really enjoy the yeast in this, just slightly tart with a great mustiness and funk that doesn’t overwhelm

Batch 1. Poured into a Tired Hands Teku on 10/12/18.
Pale yellow in color with a tremendously fluffy white head. Highly effervescent.
Not a ton going on on the nose here. Super dry tropical/stone fruit.
Taste is much of the same. Incredibly dry. Some peppery notes. Some musky funk.
Feels light but still has a decent little chew to it. Very assertive.
I think overall I'm just not quite sure what their intentions are here. I think my brain just doesn't quite know how to make sense of it. It's not that I need it to fit into some sort of style guideline, but it just kinda seems to be doing a little bit of everything without quite serving a purpose? I'm not sure. It just kinda seems like it wants to be a nice little table beer, but is a bit heavy handed for it. Nonetheless, the profile is there and is enjoyable because of it, I just wish it was a bit more dialed in.
