Guillemot Prunum is our fruit drenched oak fermented dark Saison/Baltic Porter type thing. A treatment of Guillemot - our dense, dark Saison - which was refermented on hundreds of pounds of blueberry and plum, then conditioned on heaps of Madagascar vanilla beans. We got right around five pounds of fruit per gallon of beer with this batch. Bottled in May of 2018 and conditioned in the bottle at the brewery before its release. Dense and lush notes of blueberry cobbler, dark fruit preserves, mulled hardspice, Amarena cherry and semisweet chocolate.

Poured from a corked bomber into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Dark, dark brown pour... hazy and with 2 fingers of off-white head. Great lacing.
S: Tart and funky. Fruit and spice.
T.F: Tart... moderately acidic with strong blueberry and fruit notes. Green apple, lemon citrus, vanilla, and chocolate malt. Baking cherry and oak. Definite funk and yeast... loads of flavors going on. Medium bodied. Tart and funk finish.
O: An outstanding dark saison. Loved the flavor and complexity... and still super drinkable. Well worth seeking out.

Thanks to CanConPhilly for this one. 750ml bottle poured into 14oz tulip. Poured a very dark brown color with just a thin cap of dark brown head that dissipated quickly and left no lacing.
The aroma had some light oak scent, a pleasant amount of dark fruit, some nice grains, and a touch of alcohol. Pretty much the same on the tongue, with the fruit aspects being a bit more notable, and the malts stronger.
The body was smooth, and the beer had a semi-sweet finish. Drinkability was very nice, my pour went down easily. Overall, a very nice beer. Worth trying if you see it.

Murky brown color with tan head. Aroma has really nice dried plums, dark chocolate and a bit of balsamico. Taste is sour, acetic, really fruity with plums and other fermented orchard fruits. Medium minus body and carbonation. Quite sour but the fruits and dark malts make for a successful combination.

It pours extremely dark, a deep brown that shows just a bit of purple. A thin fluffy beige head forms and demonstrates incredible retention.
The nose is fruity and slightly funky: barnyard, blueberry, currant, and a big earthy chocolate note that comes last. It starts tart, before quickly moving to berries and finishing with a strong malt backbone. It's definitely earthy, but not all the way to a Flanders. There's a full mouthfeel and a finish that lingers and moves between fruit, chocolate malt, and a mouthwatering pucker.
This is a lovely, highly complex beer where all of the pieces work together beautifully.

Pours cloudy brown, 2 fingers of velvety head dissipate slowly.
Nose is balsamic, chocolate, cherry. Soft funkiness. Think barnyard with a breeze, not gym socks on a locker.
Taste is cherries, blueberry, slight vanilla,Woody notes.
Mouthfeel is lower end of medium, very lively carb. Dry finish.
Overall, hard to find fault in this one, nice notes blend together well. Surprised at the chocolate and vanilla, but works quite well.

Pours deep purple-blue with an inch of off-white head.
The nose and taste remind me of a blueberry Tootsie Pop. As juvenile as that sounds, that's the best way to describe it. Tart blueberry and chocolate malt. Despite that description, there's enough mature cheese-funk/complexity to undercut the sweetness and add depth.
The mouthfeel is medium+ for the style.
Overall, very good. Almost a dessert sour, though it manages to maintain the complexity of something more Belgian and austere. Blueberry, chocolate, and subtle dry cheese.
