Cloudy light orange with a half-finger of near-white head. Solid rings of lacing.

Big, creamy, fruity aroma with mixed citrus, lemon, pineapple, peach and mango.

The fruit continues to the taste, but is muted by a fairly strong mineral water element, a touch of herbs and a moderately bitter pithy aftertaste.

Thin bodied with very strong fizziness in the feel.

This is a fine beer, but is a little subpar for a Tired Hands IPA, IMO.

L - massive, fluffy, bright white head atop a translucent yellow body.

S - grapefruit, caramel, herb.

T - follows the nose. Grapefruit and orange flesh, followed by a lot of dankness. Caramel, melon, dirt, cabbage.
Low bitterness. Low sweetness. Low booziness.

F - medium body and carb.

O - a bit muddled, with conflicting hop flavors.

Special thanks to Jeremy for this can

Pint can dated 10/18/18 "Love U Jazz Man" - poured into a tulip at 42F

Pours a very pale, murky, turbid orange smoothie color, with about a finger of very tight, eggshell white foamy head that slowly recedes to a cap and thick collar, leaving soapy spots. Beautiful looking ale.

Nose is big on the dank Simcoe - earthy and pungent, with some Galaxy and Mosaic character too. It's a big nose. It's really interesting and honestly reminds me a little of buttercream cake frosting. Lots of vanilla notes. Some blue and red berry character. Now that it's breathing a bit, I'm getting subtle, but very identifiable Nelson hop character. You can't really describe Nelson Sauvin hops. You need to experience them. Faint undertones of passionfruit, cilantro, and green apple. Some grape character that kind of stands in with the berry thing. Just a killer nose.

Palate matches that nose on the dot! Waves and layers of hoppy goodness with all sorts of nuances and flavors. Vanilla, dankness, grassy, dark berries, tropical fruit juice of mango, papaya, a touch of pineapple, some pithy grapefruit, clementine, passionfruit, apple, pear, basil, cilantro, leafiness, it just goes on! There is so much flavor packed in here, and almost no bitterness. Very late hopping during ferment..is extremely evident in the deeper earthy pungent notes. I don't know, guys... This is an outstanding IPA.

Mouthfeel is lush and pillowy soft. Fluffy. Damn fluffy. THIS IS ONE FLUFFY MOTHERFUCKER. Okay, sorry, I got carried away. I think you get it. Soft and creamy, but with excellent carbonation to keep it lively and not chewy. Tired Hands is amazing at finding the balance of fluffy and bubbly.

Overall, wow. This might be my favorite Tired Hands IPA. It's tough. Many of them can be very similar, with only very subtle differences. The ones that are different tend to be VERY different (Invasive 5 - top notch). This one lies in the middle - signature Tired Hands base approach, instantly identifiable, with with some remarkably nuance, in the form of a stellar hopping choice. A+

Jeremy, thank you so much for saving this can for me. Wish I saved it for last. Cheers!
