Pours a murky strawberry-rhubarb color with a large, rocky raspberry-tinted head that leaves soapy lacing.
Light, lightly-floral aroma with some peach and plum behind.
Sour and tart tasting overall with flashes of the blend fruits throughout — blueberry, plum, peach — as well as some wood and toast. There’s a great burst of blueberry juice sweetness up front, that quickly gives way to a puckering tartness that lasts well into the aftertaste.
Full bodied for the style with slow-building carbonation
The bottle was a gusher, but it’s still a pretty beer to look at. It’s definitely tasty, but the strong fruit tartness hides any subtleties.
