This can stated Quadruple Berry Double Milkshake IPA - Raspberry Blackberry Blueberry Boysenberry, canned 07/09/2020; it pours opaque red purple color with a 2+ finger thick whipped foamy head that was very light pink colored, fading in average time and leaving basically zero lacing. Sediment floats around and remained at the bottom of the snifter.
It’s a collaboration with Omnipollo, and smells like tart fruit that showcases the raspberry and blackberry, but it also had a lot of earthy aspects along with roasted grains and malty notes like burnt biscuits. A lot of fruit in the mix as well as wet cardboard essence.
Flavor also had stronger than expected malty and biscuit notes, especially with the color as well as the 4 fruits used to create this brew. Maybe the fruits soured over the past 4 months as this is tart, slightly bitter and almost like cranberry juice as opposed to the sweet taste of raspberry or that distinct blueberry taste. This beer is quite fruity, but on the tart side and not the refreshing side.

Typical murky and opaque look as expected for the style with a reddish purple color from the berries. Nice head with sticky lacing.
I found this beer really opened as it warmed up. The berries and sweet, creamy milkshake aspect cake out. Same on the flavor. Often times these beer tastes more like a milkshake than an IPA. This one was heavily hopped and it showed. It drank like an IPA first, backed by the fruit additions which were slightly tart and natural. I wouldn’t mind a thicker feel to more closely resemble an actual milkshake, but I related the hell out of this beer for being what it is and still drinking like a beer.

From 16 oz can. From the TH Instagram post: “Blueberry Blackberry Raspberry Milkshake IPA is another super fun, care-free installment in our over-the-top Culinary IPA series, dreamt up with our forever friends at @Omnipollo. Brewed with a hefty portion of oats, wheat and lactose sugar, and conditioned on a profusion of blueberry, blackberry and raspberry purées, as well as a generous dose of whole Madagascar vanilla beans. Hopped AND dry hopped intensely with our very freshest Mosaic & Citra. Notes of mixed berry smoothie, lemon meringue pie, blackberry ice cream, apricot preserve, and the healthy snack at your friend’s house as a kid.” Delicious!
