Blind review other than appearance.
This beer that appears to be a NEIPA pours an opaque, deep golden amber color. It’s translucent in the narrower bottom part of the glass. Eggshell, tightly packed, rocky bubbles with a lot of lacing as it settles. Big streaks of lacing as I drink the beer. No visible carbonation.
It smells like a NEIPA too. It’s not jumping out of the glass, but there is a nice tropical fruit profile with some pineapple and sweet mango, some lemon -lime citrus, some spearmint. Some earthiness. Slight red apple. I would not be surprised if there were some Southern Hemisphere hops in here. Galaxy, Nelson, Motueka.
No indications of alcohol on the nose or palate.
Nice medium level of carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel. Semi-dry on the finish.
Overall, I’m really enjoying this beer. The flavors I mentioned above are coming out nicely as the beer warms.
