Antedate is a bright and drippy Saison brewed with raw wheat and primary fermented in a large oak foudre with our Magickal Saison yeast and house mixed cultures. Secondary fermented on second use Oregon-grown Marionberries and fresh lemon juice. Refermented in the bottle for natural carbonation. Just so zippy and juicy! Notes of lingonberry soda, lemon lime slushee, Concord grape, light oak character, and sweet tart candies =) 6.5% abv.

Corked bomber. I don't know what a marion berry is but it lends this beer a nice color and crisp tartness. This has the perfect amount of sour which lets the fruit and wheat flavors really come through.

Poured from a corked bomber into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Slightly cloudy golden pink pour with 2 fingers of fizzy white head. Falls fast... decent lacing and some sediment at the end of the pour.
S: Tart and fruity. Funk, barrel, and oak.
T.F: Just like it smells. Tart and fruity... berry, lemon citrus, wine grapes, and oak. A little musty... barrel funk and baking cherry. Medium to light bodied... modest acidity, with bubbly carbonation. Gets the salivary glands working. Tart funky fruit to finish.
O: An outstanding Tired Hands saison. As expected... fantastic beer.
