An adaptation of our house four grain Saison, Ourison, which is brewed with barley, oats, wheat, and rye, and lightly hopped with US varietals. After primary fermentation in a large oak foudre with our Magickal Saison yeast, this beer was secondarily fermented on Raspberries while our house cultures worked their magic. Refermented in the bottle for natural carbonation.

Poured from a bomber into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Burgundy golden pour with thick fizzy pink-tinged head. Falls fast... decent lacing. A good bit of sediment at the end of the pour.
S: Tart raspberry and funk.
T.F: Sweet/tart fruit. Strong raspberry... funk and vinegar. Lemon citrus, oak, and green summer fruit. Raspberry jam... juicy. Modest acidity. Medium to light bodied... effervescent. More raspberry and funk to finish.
O: Another really well done tart saison in the 'Ourison' family. The raspberry worked great with the base beer. Great flavor... and super drinkable with the low ABV.

750 ml bottle poured into a snulip glass.
L---Mostly clear, reddish pink color. Two fingers of pinkish head faded to a cap fairly quickly and left very good lacing.
S---Raspberries, obviously. You can smell the sour and the saison funkiness.
T---Follows the nose closely. Tasty, tart raspberries and some funk.
F---Medium/light mouthfeel. Good carbonation. A bit of pucker to it as well.
O---A really nice one. I've been wanting to try Tired Hands, but they're a bit pricey for me. This one was a gift, so thanks to Wifey.

A - Pours a beautiful, vibrant raspberry color with pinkish white lacing.
S - Tart raspberry funk, raspberry jam, and overall - very juicy.
T - Raspberry jam and raspberry funk with a slight puckering quality. Finishes on the sweeter side and lays down a layer of tart raspberry on the tongue.
M - Finishes dry on the back of the tongue while the rest of the mouth is left watering, eventually finishes really dry.
O - This is a pretty fantastic Saison and highly recommended. Pricey, but well worth the money.

750 ml bottle poured into an Ourison glass
A- A clear ruby red with a three finger pink head.
S- Sour, raspberry jam, wheat, lemons, oak, musty funk.
T- Tart, raspberries, lemon, wheat, oak, some musty funk.
M- Smooth, soft, light body.
O- At first the raspberries don’t seem to be the best fit for the base but as I drink it everything comes together beautifully.
