Our DDH Galaxy Double IPA is an EXTRA-freaky, extra-undead variation on Oblivex, our MASSIVE electro-mummy Double IPA. Brewed to the same base recipe, with oats and spelt, and dry hopped with our best Citra and Amarillo. It's then given that secondary dry hop with a BIG BIG BIG ol' hit of more Citra!
Notes of bright & juicy pink lemonade, artisanal & locally crafted peach rings, and Wiz Khalifa’s “Kush & Orange Juice” and the vibes thereof.

[IMG] Poured into a 16 oz Snulip glass canned on 10/09/24. Pours a very attractive hazy orange yellow with a finger plus sticky white head that leaves thin streaks of lace with excellent retention. 4.5

Aroma is passionfruit, peach, papaya, cantaloupe, apricot, and a little grapefruit rind. 4.25

Taste follows peach, papaya, passionfruit, cantaloupe, apricot, and a little does of some bitter grapefruit in the lingering finish. 4.25

Mouthfeel is rather large, soft gentle carbonation, maybe a touch dry, and at 9.2% ABV massive flavor but easy drinking. 4.5

Overall this a tad more aggressive than most NEDIPAs, but that could be the DDH aspect. I am not complaining at all. For me this was an excellent and unique experience.Tired Hands well done. 4.5

Can into pint glass. Pours a murky deep honey color with a substantial off-white head. Great lacing. Initial impression is juicy citrus, pineapple, peach, grapefruit rind, and mango. Mouthfeel is soft and juicy. Finish fades to slightly spicy citrus. Overall, a well-balanced and enjoyable and drinkable NEIPA.

Can stamped 11/18/20 Thanks to JayORear for this beauty.
Massive foamy, like that gap filler spray foam you buy at the hardware store, head that pushes past 3 fingers in height. And the retreat is slow and stubborn. Phenomenal retention. Lacing is plentiful, almost tie dyed.
Nose starts with a bitey pepper tinged orange melange. It's almost like both notes are fighting for the lead. A bit of mango plays with a slight grapefruit note. Onion pokes in near the end.
Flavor is total Galaxy. Orange zest, grapefruit, mango, and for me a hint onion going toward weed note. Solid.
Mouthfeel is medium and almost fluffy with a perfect level of carbonation.
Overall, only my second Oblivex. I am all in.

Cloudy orange with an overly-massive, foamy, off-white head. Very long lasting. Leaves thick lacing.

Orange, mango, white pepper, cat piss and weed in the nose. Sort of classic.

Hop burn city. The same elements from the aroma lead quickly to a super bitter, citrus pith finish.

Full bodied and creamy with a nice fizz.

Not bad, but over-hopped to my taste. Smells great, but not as drinkable as I’d like.
