On tap at the Station Taproom 2nd Anniv. party. Served in a pint glass. Sampled next to HF Edward.
Pours a cloudy dark golden, light amber color, a few shades lighter than Edward with a thick, creamy off white head. Fades to a thin collar and a few rings of lace. Wonderful hoppy and spicy aroma; immediately reminds me of a Hill Farmstead or Lawsons (go Vermont!) IPA with a light bready and spicy rye finish. Flavor is similar to Edward, sufficient bready malt body with a wonderful citrus and pulpy hop bitterness before the rye asserts itself in the finish. Body is only part of the beer that trails Edward, as it is light to medium body, well carbonated and slightly thin in contrast. Otherwise, for being batch < 10 on Tired Hands production brew house, this beer is awesome and I look forward to drinking many more of these.

Had this on 2012-04-21 in Downingtown, PA at the Station Taproom 2nd Anniversary.
A - Cloudy straw with a short white head and moderate lacing.
S - Spicy rye, cat and hop floral. There were a lot of food smells in the bar, which impacted my ability to distinguish more aromas if they were present in the beer.
T - Very spicy rye, herbal, good malt backbone, citrus, cat and a really nice amount of hop bitterness. The aftertaste lingered for many minutes. Really nice.
M - Light-medium body and medium carbonation. Crisp and refreshing. Dries nicely.
O - Really well done. So much flavor for a lower ABV brew. The note on the chalkboard said this was a rye-inspired American Pale Ale.
