First had: on tap at the brewpub
Hazy, golden-amber pour, with a frothy white head that retained well and laced the glass. Caramel malts in the nose with a nice balance of grassy hops. More hoppy than you'd expect for the style, perhaps. Taste is crisp and grassy, mellow fruity sweetness with a touch of honey, bready, caramel malts, slightly bittering hop finish. Light-medium body and super drinkable. For a style I don't frequently drink, I could easily throw back a few of these in a session. Then again, it's not your typical helles.
