Not retired! From draft today at TH. Pours a slightly darkish yellow. Lots of flavor on the nose and palate, and plenty of bitterness on the finish. Very nice and crushable brew

From 12/30/14 notes. 4 oz. pour on tap at hte brewpub in Ardmore, PA.

Pours a hazy burnt orange color with two inches of fluffy bright white head and moderate carbonation evident. Lots of citrus, pine hops, grass, dank resin, simcoe hops. Taste is not as strong but good; not bitter at all. Medium body and moderate carbonation, easy to drink.

Overall a good IPA with a great nose. Easy to drink and sessionable, could drink a 32 oz. growler of this no problem. Worth checking out.

Appearance: Pour produced 1'' of cream colored rocky head that lasted quite a while. Color is amber, and clarity is slightly hazy. Lacing was sparse.

Smell: Smell consists of grapefruit, lime, mango, oranges, pineapple, and whatever-else-tropical-fruits. Oh, peaches as well. Can I say ... hot damn! Tropical candy. All tropical fruits and then some.

Taste: Taste is much more bitter than the smell would suggest, followed by pineapple, and eventually mellowing out to a pine bitterness. I expected different given the smell, but don't get me wrong ... it's good.

Mouthfeel: Medium in body with a thick, slick, oily texture. Carbonation was between soft and flat ... which made it very drinkable for me. Finish is bitter.

Overall: Citra hops showcased very well. A bit bitter in taste, but the smell is incredible.

Thanks to tenderbranson69 for sharing this from the growler into my TH stemware chilled.

The color is very hazy almost murky golden color with thick white cap and thick lace collects in a film. The smell is very fruity lots of citrus and tropical hop notes with mango and mild pineapple aroma and slight tangerine aroma with mild floral aspect. The feel is great-nice lighter body with tons of hop oils and citrus tanginess with a mild bitter feel and light spice with generally dry finish and quenching quality
the flavor is very well rounded with a good amount of citrus flesh flavor with mild tangerine and mango in the taste, the simcoe is present but doesn't add any cattiness, just a light bitter herbal pine aspect to go along with the blend. the flavor profile is very bright with an emphasis on citrus and tropical fruit. I loved this, very fresh tasting with lots of hops for a fractional IPA it is one of the best you are likely to taste if you are lucky enough to try this. I appreciate my brother going out of his way to share this with me -Cheers TIRED HANDS & Tim!

Damn this is nice. /Review.

Cloudy (which I have no problem with in an IPA... why filter out flavor because of some antiquated style guideline?), darker than expected for a session IPA--absent haze, looks like a proper IPA--with a one finger, white lingering head that laces nicely down the glass. Nice citrus notes, with a little pine. More piney/earthy in the taste than in the nose, and some (but not predominate) citrus. It's quite a nice juxtaposition between aroma and taste. Most impressively, the piney resins stick around. Not sticky, not viscous, just fresh simcoe. In a 4% session IPA, this is quite the feat. TONS of flavor.

Damn this is nice.

A: Pours a yellow to slight brown color. Appears to be slightly unfiltered. Awesome creamy head and small, creamy spotted lacing on the glass present through consumption.

S: In your face hopped.

T: Awesome - the low ABV combined with this amount of hop flavor is the reason for the high taste rating. Haven't had an IPA this sessionable with this amount of flavor... ever. Really refreshing and won't disappoint even a hop head.

M: Creamy and light feel on the tongue.

O: Awesome.
