The can has a fun texture. Somehow unimpressive yellowy-amber appearance. Bit of a malty smell, which I should hope considering the whole "1.5x more hops" gimmick. Wheaty, weighty beer. An altogether pleasant beer if one is down with the malts. I see so many beers in Japan which proclaim themselves to be "all malt beers". This is probably the maltiest beer I've had yet.

Label states that this beer uses 1.5 times more malt that other beer made by Sapporo.
A - No head on a deep yellow body.
S - Rich almost sweet malty aroma, with some piney hops.
T - heavy simple malt flavor with medium long lasting bitterness.
M - Carbonation is moderately aggressive, and body relatively heavy for the style.
D - A decent heavy lager, but uninspiring.
