L: Brilliant yellow gold color with a small creamy head that disappears quickly and no lacing on glass.
S:. Grain and bread with a strong pepper note with a slight bit of lemon.
T: Strong pepper and lemon notes , with some fruity esters and grain underneath, slightly astringent bitterness.
F: Medium body and the carbonation is on the low side.
O: A solid drinking saison.

Bottle date is barely legible, looks like it was running out of ink, I think it says 07/19/15, and one of the last nights of summer so time to finally drink this one.
Pours a big fluffy fizzy very foamy 2 finger head fades slowly, lots of soapy lacing, mostly clear slight chill hazed honey orange color, tons of streaming bubbles.
Nose typical Belgian saison made in America, lots of toasty malts, mild cracked wheat and hay like, little sweet caramelized wheat sugar thing, with plenty of esters, a little banana clove, mild spices, fruity esters, pretty grassy with grassy malts and grassy hops, a little spicy hop note, light phenols, green apple skin, pear, etc.
Taste brings mild sweetness, bit sweeter than I expected, more sweet malts, toasty grainy grassy, little creamy wheat like, etc. Then big spicy hops, quite bitter, herbal spicy earthy hops get a little nagging, too hoppy all around, even for an American saison. There are hints of esters, fruity, banana, clove, other spices, etc, and some mild phenols, but they are very much overpowered by the big hops. Then a little green apple skin late. Finish a bit drier but mild sticky and underattenutated, big spicy chewy hop bitterness overpowering any nice characters.
Mouth is med bod, decent effervescent carb.
Overall eh, def not one of Brewmaster Jack's best beers. He usually hits well with the style, but this one was not very enjoyable and not good for the style. Hops just way too much, too sweet as well, and doesn't seem attenuated enough.

A - Hazy straw body with a fluffy white head leaves little lacing.
S - Fresh grains, cracked pepper, lemon.
T - Fruity esters, lights oats, pepper. ens with more esters.
M - a little thick and too light on the carbonation.
O - An excellent take on the saison with a high ABV. More of a sipper than a thirst quencher.

L- a hazy, glowing gold with crazy looking carb. Dense white cloud of a head.
S- smells like a nice saison. That's all i hafta say.
T- tangy lemon zest. Some hay. An herbal quality. Drying spice on the back end. Minutes after the last sip, lemon is what is left over.
F- medium and soft despite super active carb.
O- I dig it.

Light, refreshing and pretty bold in terms of citrusness. Some typical farmhouse spice but a very easy drinker and remarkably clean. This is as good as of a saison as I've had and well worth a shot BMJ keeps upping their game

a: Bright, clear golden color; pours with a towering, fragile looking white head.
s: Yeast dominant, pear, apricot, and a trace of pepper. Lightly sweet grains and some prickly herbal hops.
t: On the dry side, just the way I like 'em. Some yeasty fruitiness, mostly apricot with somw sweet pear. Peppery spice and earthy hops on the finish.
m: Light and airy, very soft overall.
o: 2 for 2 from Jack. Great saison after their great porter. Very glad I got to try them.
