Our juicy grapefruit beer with spirit and strength. This crazy delicious IPA combines zests of citrus and malty, toasted caramel with robust ruby-red grapefruit aromas. The result is an IPA with bold body and tart citrus savor. This tangy Grapefruit IPA is, daringly delicious with gusto to spare. Your gullet will thank us later

Slightly fogged orange gold under a moderate head that retreats to a full film. Spotty lace along the way. Sweet and fruity grapefruit aroma. That belies the bitterness of the beer. Got some genuine grapefruit juice bitterness going here, not just from the hops. Pithiness with underlying sweet juiciness. Quite different from a grapefruit radler and a good working application of grapefruit juice in an IPA compared to a lot of others out there. Rather watery mouthfeel, some sweetness, then a bitter finish. Nothing lingering. A pretty good turn on the grapefruit theme.

There may well be some decent hop character hidden behind all the grapefruit soda flavour in this one, but it's simply not allowed to shine through. Still a tasty drink, but I prefer fruity tastes which come from the hops themselves rather than additions, and the addition here dominates the flavour too much.

A little hazy reddish-gold with a strong head. Juicy grapefruit nose. Medium malt body with a slightly soapy finish. Hoppy but not over the top.

Can: Poured a clear orangey color ale with a large foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of grapefruit with some citrusy hops is quite enticing. Taste is a mix of grapefruit juice with some citrusy notes and some residual sugar notes cutting through the bitterness. Body is about average with good carbonation. Quite enjoy the mix of grapefruit and hops.

Pours a slightly hazy bright orange with a huge, everlasting rocky head. Ruby red grapefruit and citrusy hops in the nose. The taste is very hoppy and grapefruity with a sweet edge and some crystal malt grainyness. Pretty full bodied for the style. The finish is mederately bitter with lingering grapefruit rind and pineapple hops.
A nice grapefruit IPA. Perhaps the grapefruit flavor is too overpowering for some (perhaps veering into radler territory), it's still well integrated and quaffable. I recommend this.

A nice (especially in the summer), refreshing IPA that not only includes grapefruit, but goes downright turbo on it. Which in itself is not a bad thing (unless you hate the fruit). But by doing this, the beer paints itself into such a niche corner, that it severely limits an appreciative audience. Kudos to the brewer for not caring.
I, for one, don't love it but it's not horrid.

473 mL can from the LCBO; best before Dec 20 2017 and served slightly chilled.
Pours a cloudy golden-orange hue, crowned with a half-inch of bone white head which erodes within the next two minutes or so. A soapy, foamy collar is the major remnant, with only a spotty film otherwise obscuring the surface - though it's only fair to mention the lovely curtain of lace that has been imprinted on the glass. Tart pink grapefruit juice is by far the most immediately noticeable aspect of the aroma - and as a grapefruit lover, I have no problems with this. Meanwhile, faint caramelized malt sweetness and some mildly floral, tea-leafy hop notes are largely overshadowed by the aforementioned juicy citrus.
Quite a solid grapefruit IPA; one that absolutely delivers with respect to the 'grapefruit' half of that equation. Juicy pink grapefruit flavour is underlain with a reasonably sturdy malt backing, including bready, toasted biscuit and light caramel sweetness. Pithy bitterness begins to resonate on the back end, followed by a floral, leafy, moderately bitter hop finish. Medium in body, with moderate carbonation that starts off rather prickly, but softens over time, resulting in a smooth, pleasing texture.
Final Grade: 3.88, a worthy B+. I'm an avid hoppy pale ale consumer (and, as I've said, I like grapefruit), so Hops & Robbers Grapefruit IPA should be right up my alley - and it more or less is. The pink grapefruit flavour steals the show, but the underlying malt/hop scaffolding - which is akin to its English IPA originator - is sturdy enough to assert itself, preventing this from being a one-dimensional brew. Good stuff, and worth taking a flyer on for sure. I can foresee a radler version of this in the future... and I expect my future self would pick it up with little hesitation.

Really tasty and refreshing, but the taste and aroma are almost entirely dominated by the grapefruit. Well-balanced in terms of sweetness. It's hard to give it a high rating as a beer, but I would definitely buy again.
