12oz bottle poured into Belgian Tulip.
L: Pours a pale golden with 1 finger of fine white foam that lingers. Good clarity but I did get some floaters from the bottle yeast. Great carbonation
S: Sour, citrus, slightly floral, nose is fantastic
T: Slightly sour, citrus, herbs. Very slight spicy note. Finishes dry with a light lemon rind taste. Really tasty.
F: Well carbonated, light bodied without being watery.
O: This beer impressed the heck out of me. This is probably the highest rated "session beer" I've ever tried. It's very tasty, very easy drinking, refreshing, balanced, beautiful. Sour lovers will really appreciate what they have done here.

the finally put out a four pack, and i am a huge fan. its a great beer, in a style that gets no attention, and its really affordable for what it is. looks like raw honey in the glass, bright beige yellow in color, cloudy, but happy looking, with a tall and lasting white head. it smells nice too, really really grain forward. i get oats and wheat for sure, probably a little rye as well, but its tough to tell in the smell or the taste because of how awesome and intense the yeast profile is here. its spicy and a little astringent, a mix of brett and bugs i must imagine, lots of acidity if its brett only, but also some belgian notes with high tone stone fruit and mild spice. sharp funk to it, lemony and puckery, but not at the expense of drinkability in the least. oats give it a ton of body and you can feel the wheat texture as well. i like the mix of yeasts and grains here, this is about as complex as session ale gets. one of my new favorite styles, and one of the better trve beers of late i reckon. remarkable depth really, with some moderate hop profile too, flashes of pineapple and tangerine, but its dry and quick. nicely carbonated and feeling a lot bigger than it is. i will buy this again for sure. good for trve, this is fantastic grisette.
