A- Pours from the tallboy into a goblet with a slightly cloudy golden body and a one inch fluffy white cap. Wide ring after good head retention and lacing is spotty.

S- Funky and plenty of Saison yeast strength to go around. Funky Brett with some tropical fruits, cherry pie, spicy Belgian yeast, lemon and notes of sour tropical fruit. Truly pungent and a hint of musty wine and acetic acid.

T- Definitely sour citrus and stone fruits joined by Brett funk and Saison yeast. Notes of lemon and lime, sour grapes, musty old vinous grapes, apricot as well as big lactic sourness with a touch of acetic. Very sour in the end. Sour citrus and stone fruits best summary.

MF- Medium bodied with a fluffy and creamy texture. Smooth and silky and finishes with a big sourness.

This beer is kind of a beast. Really sour with both lactic and acetic acid coming to mind and in the end the sourness with the citrus and stone fruit flavors really makes more happen than the Saison yeast. Gotta find more of this to be honest as this is one hell of a six pack beer.

Can. Look is a 6/5. You know why? Because I am pretty sure the name and aesthetic is a hommage to the absolutely thunderous black metal band Vanum. Their 2017 EP was one of the coolest musical outputs I have come across in a while. Back to the beer... Oh, and I am going to review this whilst adopting a tone that fits this beer's excellent subject matter. The miasma of tartness and primordial stench slowly waft and uncoil like a blossoming skeletal fist. I greedily huff the aroma as if I am standing over a cauldron of brutalized flesh and stagnant water. Blessed be the victorious fumes of a hunt. A malicious, stinging tartness stabs and desecrates the tongue. The anger and fury of the beer is not depicted in it's airy body but it instead chooses to scratch the back of the tongue. As each sip forcefully wriggles against gravity, I realize the scratching is not simply an output to the feel of the beer. A soul struggles against obliteration. That same bony, graveyard-bound hand I smelled before is now clawing for grip, grasping for my uvula. Furiously it clutches at anything in a hopeless attempt to slake the fear of impending descent.

a new one from these guys, a mixed culture saison type done up with citra this time around. its awesome beer, they all are from these guys, but its not quite as different as some of the others, and as much as i love it, i think knowing some of the others like it so well makes me want a little more from it. soft pale hazy brew, super light looking through the cloudiness, two inches of bone white head rest atop in the globe. it smells like light lemon zest, sprite soda, and everything i know about citra hops all in one place. its quite tart but not sour enough to limit drinkability, not even a little bit, its still sort of delicate all around, flavorful as it is, and the sourness is but one thread in a now familiar but still exciting wild yeast profile, with some fruity drying brett in there too, very well established. good funk here too, trve has mastered this little mix and it really appeals to me. the hops give notes of fresh lemon and lime, lemongrass, lemon frosting, and green apple, super dry hoppy and fresh tasting. by itself this is amazing, in the context of all the beers like this that these guys do its not a standout to me, but citra by itself has never spoken to me like it clearly has to others... decidedly new school, but the right amount of that, well done again by trve. my neighbor thinks this is the best beer he has ever had, and its hard to objectively disagree, even though its definitely not for me, i get where he is coming from...
