this beer is insane, another mind blower from trve, and my current favorite of theirs right now. this is a mix fermentation beauty, liberally hopped with some real fruity stuff, it has a profile all of its own, even among the other dry hopped wild beers these guys make, this one stands out to me. the hops are incredible, straight honeydew melon and honey in the nose, some fresh orange juice, and this crazy botanical complexion. huell melon and cashmere are what they use, and it really is a crazy profile together, more of either on display here than i have known in other beer, and they seem like a perfect match. nuances of lime zest and chamomile and lemongrass are here as well, and this seems so vibrant and fresh on the hop side for how mature these yeasts seem in here, light pucker to it but a lot more funk than acid, some new woodiness to is nice with the brightness of the hops. the flavor is amazing, and it lingers after the swallow despite this being dry. a cool brett lambicus type complex here, but it likely is more than one brett strain working, interesting and delicious overall. these guys are at the top of the heap right now in these styles!
