L: Pours a dark orange reddish color with no head or lacing.
S: Plum hits the nose first followed by a touch of tartness, a bit of a rustic Brett leads to a very inviting aroma.
T: Sweet plum hits the tongue first, followed by a nice hit of funky rustic Brett, a light herbal note and finishes with a slightly acidic tartness.
F: Smooth with some acid hitting the throat, and a medium body.
O: Another fantastic sour from TRVE.

the art on their labels just keeps being amazing, some of the best packaging in all of beer, bottles and cans all looks sharp. this one is done with plums, and has a deep pink to light ruby red color, a little hazy toward the bottom of the bottle but still bright, bubbly to drink but doesnt hold much head. plum has always been a weird fruit for me in wild ale, like sometimes its obvious, but rarely. more commonly its a generic berry or fruit punch thing, not that apparent as plum, seems like to taste like plum it has to be sweet most of the time, so i was almost shocked when my first smell of this was so straightforwardly plum. its got a familiar trve mixed fermentation profile, lightly herbal, horsey, and rustic, with the brett ahead of the acidity, i love this complexion and my mouth waters for it, one of the things i miss the most about living in denver! its gorgeous with the plums, which are ripe and tart in this, maybe a little rose wine character too, but that its plum is evident for sure. the taste is similar to the aroma, remarkably fresh and fruit forward for how mature the thing also is. the plums are more tart from the skins than sweet or juicy from the flesh, and now its quite vinous as well. a touch of raspberry character to me too, but not at the expense of the identity of the plum. light lemomy tartness and some tannins, good carbonation, and an all of a sudden dry finish. really delicious beer here, another lights out fruited funky one from these guys, and just a joy to drink. these guys remain one of my favorites, even though access to their stuff is a lot harder now that i dont live down the street! man this was good!

Pinkish-red body; decent head; dense and foamy. Generic wild ale funk to the aroma; perhaps suggestions of raspberries and cherries. Sweet, tart, and fruity flavors; cherry cough drops. Medium body, very soft with a citrus-like tang; somewhat sweet feel with a strong tart and puckering edge.
The bottle label states this is a saison aged on Colorado plums. The plums certainly explain the color, but the taste primarily cherry throughout. The saison-like quality seems rather tame and mundane but gets the job done. An okay beer if you like sour cherries.
