L - a splendid straw-gold verging on yellow champagne look; decent head. No lacing as one might expect out of a 2.8% table saison.
S - Green apples, y'all, and a hint of some holiday spice, a little funk that dissipates. Nice, but you can tell there's not much "there" there.
T - Again, bright green underripe apples, has that lovely tartness you'd get from a golden pear that isn't quite ripe. Nice; it's like drinking light baking fruits of apple/pear. Good impression, but like any table saison, it drops off a cliff for finish. True to the style, like a more saison-y grisette.
F - Great, perky, tart carbonation; great mouthfeel for this weight. 2.8? You sure? Yep. Drank 4 in a row; felt nothing.
O - a winner, and one that I'll return to for summer drinking especially, or for mowing lawns, or grilling, or... right now.

Pale straw yellow body; lively carbonation; thick and foamy white head, some stickiness and legs of foam along the glass. Pear and mild green apple on the nose; slight clove; an initial trace of horse blanket that quickly faded. Light lemon, lime and pear flavors; a touch of dry white wine; very quiet light bread malt base; minimal hop bitterness. Light body; gentle tickle on the palate; slightly tart.
This is an amazing low ABV beer, tasty and thirst quenching.

L:. Pours a very pale straw yellow with a very frothy foamy head and some nice lacing around the glass.
S:. Starts a hint of lemon and a bit of honeydew, wheat and fresh cut grass, a hint of Brett light but very intriguing.
T:. Starts with melon and a bit of honeydew, which slowly leads to lemon and light hops, intermingles with wheat and fresh cut grass, and a hint of Brett.
F:. Lighter body, seems a touch watery.
O:. This is a very enjoyable saison, very enjoyable in warm weather.

a super low alcohol table type saison, and another splendid beer from these guys. i half expected something this low to be boring and bland and watery, but its none of those things at all, and in fact is quite complex. its super pale, as is to be expected, probably just raw wheat and pils type malt, but its heavy and frothy even from the tap, super lively, and attractive in its delicate appearance, mostly clear. aroma and flavor are neat, im surprised how fermentation driven this is, it probably had to be to be even the least bit interesting, but its a cool touch, dry and slightly funky, even a little brett in here, with a sort of english doughy element, a neat yeast strain or mix, maybe some french type saison esters, well used here, probably never got too stressed at this gravity. there is also a cool hop element here, light tangerine and kumquat, some ripe melon, its both fruity and piquant, and has an herbal freshness thats amazing for the spring time. notes of lemon verbena, elderflower, and lemongrass in there, maybe a little more in the nose than the taste, but its not at all a one dimensional brew, and the hops are a big part of that. i love how refreshing it is, how dry and bubbly, and how the yeast speaks so loudly here. its a really neat beer, something i want to drink all summer, and in an alcohol range i wish more american brewers would embrace. beer like this really prolongs a session. i was super impressed with this, and crave another one right now! i miss trve more than any other brewery now that colorado isnt home anymore...
