Served On-Tap
A — Pours a bright and lightly hazy yellow hue into the glass, there is a white colored head that forms, but settles to a thin layer, leaving behind some consistent spots of lace with each sip.
S — Smell is light initially but as it warms it starts to hit its stride, all the qualities that are associated with this style are here. Light banana, clove, white pepper, light spice, slightly grainy, lemony hint almost.
T — Taste is fairly light but focused on the belgian yeast qualities of estery banana and light spice, really light but not in a bad way, very easy going while still ticking all the right boxes.
M — Light in body for the style, oftentimes these aren't refreshing, but this one goes down smooth and is light enough to have more than one without losing any character.
O — Very good overall and quite enjoyable, one of the better local options I have had.

i like a belgian string, and this is a pretty good one, with a little richer color to it, deeper bronze almost in the light, but its always hard to tell in trve because the lighting is so dim in there. the head is thick and white, it looks the part. the yeast has a great aroma to it, with notes of white grape and white pepper, a perfect mix of fruity and spicy, and the malt bill is bigger and more interesting than normal for the style, which gives it another wrinkle. some sweetness up front, and the fruitiness is more expressive than the spice in the flavor of the yeast. definitely some residual sugar, but the abv is just right i think for the style, and i find myself drinking this at a pretty nice pace. i prefer the wild stuff these guys make, its on par with the best in the country, but their non wild ales are pretty solid too. just a little different, a pleasant and sturdy beverage.

Bought on site. First time in the place, had an interesting feel to it.
I might not be the best person to start the rating on this beer, because of my lack of experience with the style in general. But here goes nothing.
A&S: transparent golden yellow colored beer. white foamy head with decent retention and left little globs of lacing. moderately pungent yeasty and spiciness.
T&M: Not especially powerful or complex tasting beer. Hops (grassy) and spiciness were subdued, tart fruitiness from the yeast. Crisp and clean feeling beer. Medium-low bodied beer, medium-low carbonation.
Overall: I enjoyed it. Seemed to be a good fit for the style, but just nothing mind blowing. Would have liked to have brought some home, but they only fill their own growlers... kinda weak. This brewery is really not like anything I have ever seen, I like the fresh thinking.
