Ruby red with brown and garnet highlights. Not much head, pink to off-white.
Buttery toffee malts (pie crust) with sweetening, sour cherries. Obvious cherry aroma. Not artificial-smelling though.
Toffeeish, ESB-malt backbone (pastry). Sweetish cherry flavor from the beginning, turning tart/tangy to almost sour. Nicely done. Not too sweet, yet very cherry and very malty. 4
MF: Quite bubbly, lively feel. Medium bodied.
Not bad for a fruit beer.
