Pours a dark, slightly murky reddish purple, with a gushing amount of light pink head.

The aroma is all razzleberries. I have never actually eaten a boysenberry, but judging by this beer I am guessing it is a lot like raspberries with a little bit of blackberry and cherry thrown in. The aroma is very fruity and exactly what I was hoping for. Just a touch of yeast and a wheatiness in the background.

The taste is again very fruity with just a slightly tart edge.

The mouthfeel is okay but the excessive carbonation fills your mouth on each sip/swish and makes it difficult to taste the beer fully.

Overall this is an interesting beer. Glad I picked it up but probably won't do so again. Definitely worth seeking out if you like beers with berries.

Poured in 12oz tulip glass
Black cherry color with Champagne like carbonation, smell of tart berry with hints of rose, and cranberry likeness
mouthfeel is full but not sweet with a dry tart berry aftertaste. the berry is nicely integrated.

Overall; If this was not so pricey i would drink this as often as i could get it.

This beer poured out as a deep red color with a pinkish colored head. The head was fizzy and didn't have much lacing or retention to it. The smell of the beer was fruity, sweet and had a slightly tart aroma. The taste was similar to the nose, the tart fruitiness isn't really balanced with the malts. The mouthfeel is watery and decently carbonated. Overall this beer was more like a watered down Lambic to me. It's not something I would drink a lot of but it was nice to try.

No freshness date notched on the label. Poured into a frosted Purple Haze glass.

Hazy magenta color with a carnation pink head that fell to a ring.

Lightly sweet fruity aroma with a fruit pancake syrup character to it. Can’t say that I’ve ever tasted or smelled boysenberry, but it has a unique red berry nose like strawberry. Nice showing of malts in the nose with a subtle toasty note.

Toasty wheat malts take a backseat to tart seedy strawberry and blueberry syrup. A little honeyed, yet not as intensely sweet as one might expect. Crisp finish with some hops noticeable. Very clean in the end with that kiss of hops, bleeding-through malts, and juicy berry tartness.

Scrubbingly carb-ed. Bushy. Medium-to-thin body. Very drinkable.

Nice fruit wheat. I’m pleasantly surprised. Would choose this New Zealand brew over most. Snag one up.

Guess I dint know this is s'posed to be served chilled and let it warm a bit out of the fridge. Served with a fizzy, foamy, pink lavender head that soon settles to an island and the tiniest bit of lace. Color is a clear cherry red with loads of bubble trails. Aroma is Boysenberries, malt, butter. Flavor's like nose, on the dry side, plenty of carbonic tang, butter's more noticable at the beginning. Body is good and has plenty of carbonation. Finish is like flavor with berry and tang lingering for a while.

A - Vivid crimson purple body under a bubbly thin head and traces of lacing.

S - Boysenberry ice cream and sweet vanilla.

T - Mildly sour before the berry sweetness takes over. Tasty but a little one dimensional.

M - Medium bodied, moderate carbonation.

O - Not a bad tart/sweet beer that would be best appreciated with a creamy desert.
