500ml Bottle served into a Pint Glass. Enjoyed on Jul´11
Pours deep amber in color, clear body, slightly haze. Off-white, close, copious, creamy & lasting crown. Copious, foamy & lasting lacing rings. Floral explosion next to wet grass followed by mildy malty notes on nose. Piney & fresh wood hints. Bitter tasting at first sip then subtle chocolate hues & slightly citric bitternes in the middle. Mildy butter & sharp astringent bitterness finish. Medium body & low carbonation. Quite rough aftertaste. Very well balanced flavors & aromas. Refreshing.
Cask-conditioned served into a Pint Glass. Enjoyed on Jul´11
On tap every character of the bottled version results amplified. Foam turns yellowish white in color & looks creamy as a cotton candy cloud or a "capuchino" beer.Thick layer crown lasts ´til the end. While lacing rings cover the glass from the edge to the bottom.Incredible looking. Esters & diacetyl surround to an incredible, rich, overwhelming & kind hoppiness. Refreshing. Balanced flavor remains even thoug. Accurate to the Style.
(Label info) Charge: Maris Otter Pale Ale (floor malted), Mild Ale Malt & Chocolate Malt. Bitterness Hops: Chinook. Aroma Hops: Chinoook, Cascade y Celeia. Suggested service temperature: 10-13 ºC.
OG: 1,048 IBU´s: 40
