Copenhagen 10/10 2019. 65 cl bottle from Den Gamle Købmand, Skt. Annæ Plads, Kbh. K. Yellow label with simple drawings of livestock.
Pours unclear yellow with a fairly big white head. Settles as 2 cm thick, fluffy, blanket of foam obscuring the surface of the beer. Massive lacing.
Aroma is intense, acerbic, sour with light notes of funk. Citrus, unripe gooseberries, Granny Smith, fresh grass, leather, black pepper.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a stronger acerbic, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is sour and bitter. Lingers for a bit. Finish is dry.
Nice Saison with a well-balanced touch of funk.

This saison is very sour, hard to drink since it´s in a 24oz bomber. I didn´t like it much. This is a collaboration between Insurgente and two other breweries in Europe.
