Canned on 3/31/20
Pours a hazed glossy sunflower gold body capped with multiple fingers of soapy white foam; great retention yields a spotty, thin cap, frothy moderate collar, and sparse strands of lacing clinging temporarily to the glass.
Aroma opens with creamy mango lassi supplemented with light herbal tones; waxy melon and grapefruit spice develop over the middle as a milky grass note rounds out the close.
Taste is largely grassy hops, touches of lemon and orange, and dirt/earth upfront against a beautiful lactic cream note developing quickly across the mid-palate; wisps of grapefruit, passionfruit, melon, and mango sorbet soften on the back end into the finish.
Mouthfeel features a medium body with moderate carbonation fading steadily across the palate; an easygoing (minimal alcohol presence) and lightly juicy character comes through along the mid-palate and maintains throughout; spritzy bitterness touched with silky lactic smoothness proceeds through the finish.
Surprisingly pensive for the (sub-) style, this one allows a steady array of tropical fruits to come through as the hops and lactose meld quite nicely. Additionally considering the easy yet mostly taut body the profile builds from, there is great milkshake style integration here into what is an overall sturdy DIPA.

Label says Mosaic & El Dorado hops, with Lactose. Can dated 11/15/18, so my first taste was about a month old.
A very solid NE DIPA!
Lots of citrus and tropical floral aroma and taste, dank orange peel oils.
Good medium-full feel, smooth and lightly juicy without going overly sweet on the lactose. A touch of bitterness and the hop flavors are sharp and balanced. Aftertaste lingers with light tangy sourness and the sweetness of just sipping some OJ. Excellent!
Overall a really excellent beer, glad I picked it up! I'm always happy to try something new from Relic but I would certainly seek this out again!

L - light, hazy lemon orange. Oily head with a rainbow sheen a la bubbles.
S - definitely some mosaic in here. Breadiness. Sweet lemon and peach candy with hints of melon candles.
T - lactose sugar front-running all other flavors, which are subtle and difficult to discern. The whole beer has a smoothed out laziness to it. Vague berries and cream, along with peach and strawberry creamsicle. Finish is milkshakey in sweetness with some underlying bitterness. Just enough to tingle the tongue. Almost turns sour as it warms.
F - the lactose silks it out, but there's still a fair amount of fluff in its lively carbonation.
O - was hoping for more in this one! The lactose works well to create a firm base, but it's like they forgot to put the flavoring in. Milkshake with plain ice cream.

12oz can. Pours a hazy bright yellowish brown with a thin layer of head. Very little lacing. The nose is tons of fruits. Pineapple, grapefruit, orange, mango and passionfruit. The taste is over ripe fruits. Pineapple, mango, blueberries and orange but with some floral hops this time. Sweet fruity candy finish with a bit more of the floral hops. Medium to heavy body with a creamy mouthfeel. Somewhat noticeable alcohol presence. Worth seeking out.
