Clear and bubbly with a rose gold color it pours with a single finger of thin white head that has a poor retention to it but keeps a skim of bubbles on the surface due to the carbonation but has very poor runny lacing.
Subtle aroma, light floral and fruity notes to it and a hint of grainy malt.
Light but present citrus flavor forward with ghostly tropical fruit notes to it and a slightly tart and fruity, mild hibiscus flavor to it.
Body is lightly grainy and clean tasting with a faintly nutty hint to it and an active carbonation to it.
Crisp lightly grassy noble hop bite on the back-end with a faintly dry sparkling mineral water quality on the finish.
Not quite the powerhouse suggested by the moniker “Hitman” but an easily crushable summer seasonal that is refreshing with a nice hibiscus twist to it and a low ABV that won't knock you out.

330ml bottle - a 'citrus hibiscus ale', and an ode to Bret 'The Hitman' Hart, the famous pro wrestler who is from Calgary.
This beer pours a clear, bright medium copper amber colour, with three beefy fingers of puffy, finely foamy, and mildly bubbly off-white head, which leaves some random amorphous blob pattern lace around the glass as it rather lazily subsides.
It smells of orange, white grapefruit, and lemon rind, bready and crackery pale malt, some indistinct estery floral notes, and very subtle earthy, musty, and herbal green hops. The taste is semi-sweet, grainy and bready cereal malt, muted domestic citrus flesh, a fading hibiscus floral joint, and some still very tame earthy, weedy, and musty hoppiness.
The carbonation is pretty low-key in its innocuous frothiness, the body a decent middleweight, and generally smooth, nothing really getting in the way of a swell time here, as such. It finishes off-dry, the malt kind of looking around, and wondering where everybody went.
Overall - yeah, this one doesn't exactly come across as something as bad-ass as one of the most popular wrestling entertainers of all time. The guest ingredients tap out way too early, and what's with the sub-4 point alcohol measure? In the manner of the titular character's profession, it just doesn't seem like the real thing.
