The latest of Village's Gardener series. This one is brewed with locally harvested hops and carrots from various communities in Calgary.
Appearance - Pours a hazy honey colour with two fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - earthy, leafy, and floral hops, carrot, earthy aromas, bready malts, and earth yeast.
Taste - earthy, leafy, and floral hops upfront. The carrot and earthy aromas follow suit. The bready malts and earthy yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes off-dry with the hops and earthy carrot lingering.
Overall - A unique brew that has carrots as the main ingredient. Nothing really that stands out but a nice ode to foraging local ingredients.
