Beautiful rosy purple/reddish color, with a bubbly & quick dissipating head.
Nose is full of grapey (currant?) and vinegar, and that follows through on the taste, and it's a little too wine-heavy from the cab barrels for my taste. The carb is a bit too much on this one also until it sits for a while, but finishes pretty lightly with just a slight Kool-Aid taste left on the tastebuds.
Overall, a tasty brew that I would never call a saison, nor would I have ever guessed the ABV from the taste. I imagine this would be a hit with red wine lovers that 'don't like beer'.

Rose hue with a small lavender cap. Funk and currant aroma. Beautiful wine character with ample berry presence. Complex and delicious. High drinkability. Nicely done.
