Appears like a golden ale with just a slight hint of amber. The smell is clearly pear and is appealing. The initial taste of pear is somewhat overbearing - almost like a pear wine vs. a pear shandy. A little more tart than I would care for. The feel is OK... but the tartness is hard to overcome when analyzing the feel. Overall, this is an average shandy. It is just a bit to heavy on the fruit side. Worth the trip to give it a shot as this is a limited offering.
