Had on tap. Clear golden body with a thin white ring. Grape must, white wine, flowers, lemon zest and champagne yeast. Taste has a weird boozy citrus element running through all of the above. Want the clean nature of the smell. Feel is very wet then gets dry, musty, vinous, and highly carbonated. Good idea, but finishes sloppier than hoped for given the flavors

Format: a 100mL taster from the cellar door at Garage Project during Wellington Good Beer Week.
Appearance: pours out a fantastic sparkling light yellow with a slight haze. A one-finger fizzing white head lasts for a time before dropping to a thin cap. Looks pretty good.
Aroma: a very floral and fruit-based aroma with the obvious champagne and sauvignon blanc grapes up front.
Taste: more floral and tropical fruits here, with those grapes bursting through again. Quite sharp, but still quite nice.
Aftertaste: the sharpness comes through that little bit too hard on the finish for my liking. The flavours are all there, but covered by a sharp carbonation.
Mouth feel: moderate in body with a sharp carbonation.
Overall: another good beer from Garage Project. This one has a nice grape, floral and tropical fruit flavours with a sharp carbonation. One bottle at a time, at AU$17.
