Pours a black color. 1/3 inch head of an off-tan color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of strong smoke, roasted malt, slight sweet malt, and slight piney hops. Fits the style of an American Porter. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. There is also a noticeable dryness and roasted malt bitterness. Tastes of strong smoke, roasted malt, slight sweet malt, and slight piney hops. Overall, good appearance, blend, and decent body and aroma.
