12oz bottle acquired at the brewery. No bottling date. Served in a Burnt Hickory snifter.
Pours a pale, opaque, muted straw with a half finger stack of pasty white bubbles. The gentle froth settles to a broad stroke of haze and a jagged ring, leaving only a few wisps of lacing near the rim of the glass.
Smells of bold ReaLime, subtle sour grains, citrus zest and faint saltines. The lime is quite nice.
The taste opens up compared to the nose. Tart limes, earthy sour grain, old wet hay bales and an occasional puckering bite of deliciously sour Sprite.
Light body with equally light carbonation. The aftertaste brings impressions of desweetened keylime pie and a rustic, earthy tartness.
I appreciate the many fruited variants Burnt Hickory makes of their kettle sour. Electric Eliminators is easily one of my favorite iterations of General Joe's Quickstep. I'm glad they've kept bottles available at the brewery and expect I'll pick up more next time I stop by.

This is an extremely lime forward version of their General Joe's Quickstep. The color was a clear orange color and smelled like fresh limes. The taste is heavy on the citrus and tastes almost like a margarita without the salt. This was a fantastic variant of GJQ and I hope they keep this one and other variants of GJQ coming, as it's one of my favorite brews they do
