12oz can acquired by a pal at the brewery. Released 2/8/18. Served in a Burnt Hickory snifter. Enjoyed 2/12/18.
Pours a hazy amber with a finger and a half cap of white head. The foam fades to a thin veneer and full belt, leaving several patches and dashes of lace.
Bright, hoppy, citrus infused aromas of tangerine, melon, lemon cake and oranges.
Pleasantly bitter, assertively hoppy flavors of grapefruit, tangerine, papaya, melon rind and lemon cake. Surprisingly little alcohol bite.
Slick, medium body with moderate carbonation. Bitter citrus finish with notes of tangerine, melon and lemon bars.
Burnt Hickory has cranked the hops up to eleven to create Double Dragger. This is a delicious take on Cannon Dragger that I hope they make available more often.
