Brewfinity Brewing Company – American IPA <
West Coast> (7.3% ABV)
Wisconsin, United States
Look (3.75):
Pours a light amber with an SRM around 6. Forms a nice head with good retention and leaves solid lacing on the glass.
Smell (4.00):
Pine and citrus aromatics with good complexity. Aromas are present without being overpowering.
Taste (3.75):
Flavor follows the nose with noticeable complexity. Alcohol is present but not harsh. Drinks bitter and dry with piney Esters more bitter It's bitter It says it's 110 IBU... That might be overstated but it does finish dry and it is piney... Definitely yields a contemplative character.
Feel (3.75):
Ends very bitter and slightly dry, but still inviting. The finish encourages another sip despite the lingering bitterness.
Overall (3.75):
Well executed with a solid malt backbone 7.3 ABV with the malt staying mostly in the background while hop aromatics and resulting bitterness continue to pound the palate. Clearly hop-forward, though the execution pushes this way on the bitter side.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours golden orange yellow with a fluffy white head. Smells of citrus and piney hops. Tastes of bright citrus with piney notes. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.
