7th Heaven
Look (3.75):
Pours a light amber with an SRM around 6 and yes this is hazy. Forms a nice head with good retention and leaves solid lacing on the glass.
Smell (4.25):
Lots of tropical aromatics with good complexity—pineapple, citrus, banana, and mango stand out, with a subtle hint of apricot. Aromas are present without being overpowering.
Taste (4.00):
Flavor follows the nose with noticeable complexity. Alcohol is present but not harsh. Drinks more bitter than expected for a listed 37 IBU, giving it a contemplative character.
Feel (3.75):
Ends bitter and slightly dry, but still inviting. The finish encourages another sip despite the lingering bitterness.
Overall (4.00):
Well executed with a solid malt backbone staying mostly in the background while hop aromatics and yeast esters move across the palate. Clearly hop-forward, though the execution pushes this one a bit more bitter than what may have been originally intended.
