Description from the menu, "Ancient gruit made with mugwort and heather tips. Soured with lactbacillus."
Appearance looks good, beer is a translucent bronzeish color with a nice white head.
The aroma is funky. You can smell the heather and sourness of the brew.
Taste - This was by far the most interesting beer we tried. Lot's going on here, the sourness is mild, and balances well with the earthy spices. Hard for me to describe this, as the flavors are so unusual. I don't know that I could drink a pint of this, but I really enjoyed it.
Overall, definitely a beer worth trying. Probably my favorite behind their Dark Matter export stout. Unique, and I applaud them for making such an unusual beer.
