Blending the base ales of our Viva Habanera and Taza Stout into a sour mash bourbon barrel, we created this Holy Mole marriage. Barrel-aged for ten months and then infused with fresh Taza Chocolate cacao nibs and habanero peppers, this complex blend features hints of bourbon, tangy pepper, rye, spice, bitter chocolate, dark fruit, honey, and dry oak.

Bottles in 2013. Mahogany in color. See how this little guy is holding up. Hmmmm. Definitely getting some tartness and funk. There is a real building spiciness and some underlying chocolate. There is some oak. You know, it's weird as all hell but I kinda dig it.
