Thanks to schen9303 for this one. 32oz. growler into Tired Hands stemware.
Pours a big, fluffy 3 finger white head with great retention. Lacing is stringy and spotty with excellent stick. Beer is a clear bright bronze. Really excellent considering the serving style.
Nose is citrus, pine, cane sugar and caramel mixed with a robust hop aroma. Nice.
Opens citrus, pine, tropical fruit and cane sugar. Some resiny hop bitterness mixed with a touch of soapiness in the middle. Dank fruit pulpiness still present at the end. Finishes soapy and floral with bitter, citrus rind aftertaste. Very solid.
Light bodied with moderate carbonation. Smooth with some light bubbles in the mouth and goes down crisp and refreshing. Finishes messy with a lingering aftertaste. Pretty drinkable.
Described as a West Coast IPA, this beer certainly delivers. Packs a fruit and hop wallop and is real easy to put away. A 32oz is just right for one sitting!
