Notes from 10/26/14

A - Hazy dark honey colored body. 1 finger of dense white head. Good retention and lacing.

S - Super citrusy. Alittle lemon/lime, some orange, and grapefruit. Peach in the back and possibly some pineapple. Slight pine in the finish.

T - A lot of orange and some sharper citrus (lemon/lime). A little peach to follow. Finishes with a good dose of resinous pine and bitter citrus, but balanced out by a sweet backbone.

M - Full-bodied for an IPA. Medium carbonation. Pretty clean finish.

O - The best of Morph so far with regards to depth and balance, though I enjoyed some of the former iterations more simply because of their uniqueness.

This is a crazy good version of this beer. The aroma and the hops rival those of HT. The smoothness is close, but that is just quibbling. NS knocked it out of the park on this one. Preferred it out of a tulip instead of the can. Kind of flimsy cans that are distracting in that they are so crinkly. Hope the next vesion of the beer is very similar, because I will buy this anywhere, anytime.
