Canning date: 3/15

Poured a light golden color with a 4F head in a Spiegelau glass.
Aroma- not strong. Pleasant pine, nutty.

MF- not very carbonated for an IPA. The body is light. I would have preferred a stronger
weightier body for the beer.

Taste: follows from the aroma: nutty, earthy, pine.

Finish: excellent. Crisp, lightly hoppy, spicy, clean.

Overall- a very good IPA. The body could be heavier, and the MF more carbonated.
Otherwise, the aroma/taste/finish are excellent.

Slightly hazy yet fairly translucent and bright marmalade colour, with a decent head

Softly resinous and grassy aroma, really juicy with hints of clementine juice and rind.

Very light in taste, and ABV; little bit of orange/clementine, tiny bit of grassy/piney bitterness, and a soft malt sweetness to compliment the juiciness and balance out the rind.

Reminds me of Whirlpool with a different flavour profile (kind of like Craigerator). Essentially a great APA when fresh, and super crushable.

Hazy pale yellow. Reminds me of Pyuria. Resinous hop profile. Very pale an thin. Almost pilsner-esque minus the strong upfront carbonation. Its alright i guess.

12 oz can was poured into a 12 oz can shaped glass.

Appearance: A one finger head was poured that reduced to a thin layer. It is a hazy pale yellow with good clarity and vision of bubbles coming up through the glass. Spotty lacing down the glass as the beer was drank.

Smell: Resiny pine, spicy, herbal, grassy, dank, bready, and pale malts.

Taste: Same as above. Some vegetal matter in the rear that lingers around with the bitterness.

Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied, crisp, refreshing, medium carbonation, medium tingly bitterness.

Overall: First time around with the Morph series. I like it a lot, but can't justify the $12 for a 12 oz 4 pack. Might just get this on draft from now on when available.

Poured from a can. Hazy light yellow, thin head with some lacing. A streams of tiny bubbles. Its a bit too cloudy. Smell is underwhelming, a mild spiciness, a hint of musk. Tastes different from any IPA I can remember. The bitterness is powerful but not overwhelming, it clears out for a clean finish. It tastes a little earthy, a little resin, a little rind. Its quite a blend, not going too far in any one direction. It finishes towards fruit rind and ... saltiness? There's no maltiness to this beer, I don't taste anything sweet. The result is an almost watery sensation, but its not "thin", it just finishes like water... could that be local water flavor? This may be brewed from the same water supply I homebrew from.

The strong, fresh hop flavor with uniqueness saves this beer from being a loser. I'll keep trying Morph, but I'm going to have to temper my expectations. A lot of people are over-rating everything local, everything super-micro ... I'll give the brewery points for being local, but I'm not going to lie to them. This beer probably isn't going to cut it.
