Stout that sips with notes of toasted coconut, black cherry, cacao beans, and hazelnut coffee.

Had this on nitro and regular tap at the brewery. Super smooth on nitro!

On tap at brewery

Pours black with a khaki head. Smells like burnt toast and roasty chocolate goodness. The taste is like dark chocolate with a sweet burnt taste that made me think of campfire s'mores. A very natural mild char taste with dark roasted coffee and chocolate flavors with a light vanilla-like hint. Mouthfeel was slightly creamy and light. Overall I thought this was a good and well-balanced stout.

This rating based on the nitro version, tasted at the brewery on tapping day, 8/25/15 in the house taster.

L- Dark cascades, pretty opaque when held to the light, khaki head with solid lacing.
S- Major coffee up front, and...at the end. Coffee very present, but only some coconut, a biiiit of chocolate. No cherry or vanilla as advertised.
T- Roasty up front, with most of the flavor in the coffee realm, again with little coconut. Bit of bitter, baker's chocolate. Pleasant though.
F- Creamy and thick mouthfeel, but with an interestingly dry and thin finish. Not a lingerer.
O- A bit disappointed, but at the same time, still a fine beer. Would not go out of my way to seek it out, but if I were let down by a taplist and after looking through, found this at the end, I'd be pleased.

on tap from the brewery poured into a taster tulip. Looked perfect, even in the 4oz glass it had the perfect mocha head. Taste of smoooth coffee and chocolate which are complimented with vanilla. I personally couldnt pick out the cherries though, but thats alright.
